Financing commodity trade enables us to raise needed funds to provide aggregators and farmers with a ready market to buy their harvested soybeans. This ensures the aggregator or farmer has a ready market to pay for the commodity. After purchasing, cleaning, and bagging commodities from farmers through aggregators, Grow For Me sends the commodity to the Ghana Commodity Exchange (GCX) for trading. We target a slight profit margin. Commodities are sold to Off-takers including processing factories, exports, and local retailers. We have also included ACRES OF CHANGE- Soybean Trade program. This program is a collaboration between Grow For Me and Acres Agriculture, to create sustainable agricultural practices using their flagship product; Acres Nano Organic Fertilizer (ACRES). The three core benefits of this program include: Restoring Life to The Soil - ACRES is a unique, organic fertilizer and soil conditioner that rejuvenates the soil and accelerates plant growth rates and yield to leverage the soil’s microbiome and its ability to feed and protect plants along with other beneficial life that resides there. Remediation of Waterways & Waste - Soil remediation of toxicity and metals, treatment of wastewater and decomposition of waste materials, in turn, generate layers of topsoil and promote macroorganisms (earthworms, etc.) to move and bring life to the soil thereby allowing for the treatment of wastewaters to be recycled for use or redirected and applied towards the irrigation of crops. Carbon & Climate Impact- The soils used to grow our global food supply represent the greatest opportunity for taking carbon from the air and storing it underground in healthy soil. ACRES is compatible with carbon capture as well as sustainable, regenerative farming best practices.
