This is the Official Technical CHANGELOG/Release Notes.

Grow For Me is a web based Agricultural crowdfunding platform that funds farmers to scale and grow more crops, using the income received from interested sponsors. Sponsors would make a fair profit when crops are sold to our accredited offtaker partners or on the Ghana Commodity Exchange.

Most of this changes were made based on feedbacks received from users and staff as well.

Whats New

• Referral System: The First and Basic implementation of the Referral System was implemented, we have a referral code for everyone and referred code if user was referred.

  • The Referral Code: is a customizable code for every user that can be shared and used by other users as their referred code during signup. A referral code updater or customiser has been added to the Basic Profile Section of all users.

  • The Referred Code: is a non changeable code that when used cannot be changed and will be used to calculate Referral Commission on first payment of whoever has the referred code in their profile. A referred code was added to the sign up page as well made to work with google signin, facebook signin, and twitter signin.

  • Sold Out Tag on Farms was added to farms and thus has improved on the information displayed on farms.

Modifications

• Card Payments aggregated by MyBusinessPay had slight delays in reflecting on users paid farms. Responses received from MyBusinessPay have been modified to make payment reflections faster.

• Creation of New Farms or Updating existing Farms was initially set up in a way where a Crop was Selected then afterwards a Crop Schedule, this had a lot of disadvantages, This has been modified to only select the cropschedule and that automatically selects the respective crop, its now also possible to click on Sponsor Farm from anywhere and it will populate the page with the necessary information and calculations.

• Potential ROS GHȼ was modified to show only the profit unlike before it showed the sum of profit and amount paid.

• Pay Later Button the button that allowed a farm to be saved and Paid for later was removed.

• Sponsor/Outgrower Contracts these contracts were restructured/modified and now has very customised information and additional information (Finance, Farms, Personal Data etc). It is also self updating, realtime and can be downloaded at any time with all the current information.

Bug Fixes (Technical)

• Email Subscription bug fixed (caused by improperly reading Subscription information).

Minor Update [1.1.0] - 2020-08-22 17:00 GMT

• Laila Affo Souleymane (Drone Flight Operations) profile was added to Our Team Page on the website.
